HAVEN GUEST ROOM

​

      Gil-Mor Haven now offers a guest room at Haven, made available for families and friends of Gil-Mor Manor residents and Gil-Mor Haven tenants. Overnight or out-of-town guests are invited to stay in the Haven guest room for a maximum of five (5) consecutive days, based on availability and approval.

​

RESERVATIONS:  Advanced reservations can be made by calling the Business Office Manager, Social Worker or Administrator at 507-249-3143.

OCCUPANCY:  2 person maximum.

PAYMENT:  Free-will donations will be accepted for the use of the Haven guest room.  Please make checks payable to Gil-Mor Haven and drop off your donation in the box located on the Business Office door at Gil-Mor Manor.  Please call the business office for a receipt if needed.

CHECK IN: 3:00pm    CHECK OUT: 1:00pm

CANCELLATION NOTICE: A 48-hour notice is required for any cancellations. If there is not a cancellation notice, it will result in the party paying for the Haven guest room.

AMENITIES:

  • Guest parking is available either in the front or behind the Gil-Mor Haven apartments.

  • Complimentary Breakfast

  • Full-size bed

  • Television viewing is available in the Haven Community Room

  • Public Wi-Fi

  • Towels and bedding are provided

  • Bathroom is located in the main entrance of Gil-Mor Haven.

  • Also, you may use the shower located across the hall from the guest room. However, please be aware that the shower room is not available between the hours of 6:30am to 10:30am, due to staff assisting our Gil-Mor Haven tenants at that time. Use of the whirlpool tub in the shower room is prohibited by guests.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: Please arrange time to pick up keys upon arrival at the Gil-Mor Manor nurses station before 3:00pm on the day of arrival. Upon departure, keys should be left in the rent check box located on the business office door along with payment. You may ask for an earlier check-in or later check-out and we will try to accommodate you if we are able.

MEALS:  Home cooked meals are available for an additional charge. Prices are listed below. Please contact the dietary department to make a reservation for guests planning to eat the meal by 9:30am the day of (if possible, a 48-hour advance notice is appreciated). Individuals may pay cash for meals or a resident or tenant may choose to use their activity points for meal tickets. Meals will be served at the Gil-Mor Manor dining room. Please note prices are subject to change for special events and holidays.

LUNCH $6.00

Monday - Saturday: 12:00pm to12:30pm

Sunday: 11:30am to 12:00pm

SUPPER $5.00

5:30pm to 6:15pm

CHILD POLICY:  Children are very welcome at Gil-Mor. To ensure their safety as well as the comfort and privacy of all residents, please supervise all children during visits. Do not allow children to run or play in the lobbies, corridors or other parts of the facility. To help occupy and entertain your young ones, you will find board games, coloring books, crayons and puzzles in the labeled cupboard in the Haven Community Room.  Please supervise your children and clean up after they are finished.

CLEANING:  The unit is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between occupants. Guests are expected to be self-sufficient. Please call if you need more towels or bedding for extended stays. You may use the sink in the Gil-Mor Haven gathering room to wash any dishes you need to when the gathering room is not occupied.

SMOKING POLICY:  No smoking is allowed.

 

PET POLICY:  No pets are allowed (not applicable to service animals).

​

DAMAGE OR LOSSES:  You are responsible for the conduct of yourself and your guests, as well as any charges for damages and repairs.  Guests will be charged for any damages or loss of furnishings and/or linens. 

​

PLEASE NOTE: Gil-Mor Manor and Gil-Mor Haven are not responsible for lost or stolen items and/or accidents.
